Golf Course Architecture

Jay Lazzarin has been involved in the planning, design, construction and maintenance of golf courses for the past 32 years.  From his earlier apprenticeship with Norman Woods, Golf Course Architect, Jay has been engaged in various construction and maintenance capacities.  JLLA prepared the feasibility studies for two proposed golf courses, an 18 hole – par 3 course in Prince George; and an 18 hole – executive course combined with a residential subdivision in Quesnel.  Other golf course projects involved development of the master plans for Stuart Lake Golf Course in Fort St. James; Richbar Golf and Nursery in Quesnel; a detailed design and construction review of the Lone Wolf Golf and Country Club in Taylor, BC; and pre-design and routing alternatives for a proposed 18 hole golf course in Prince George.

In addition, JLLA has provided ongoing consultation and recommendations to golf course owners and superintendents in Northern BC respecting improvements and upgrades to existing golf courses.
